Last November VML Insurance Programs (VMLIP) launched a contest to promote the VMLIP Online University and it’s terrific course offerings! Any member who completed a class with a score of 80 percent or better between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31 they would be entered to win a $20 gift card.
More than 413 qualifying entries were received – increasing the usage of the online university by 195 percent over the same time period in 2012.
“We are extremely pleased with the results of this contest,” said VMLIP Director of Safety Services Beth Rosenthal. “It has provided a chance for many new members to experience the FREE online learning available through this resource, and we hope they will continue to utilize it in the future.”
The most popular courses taken through the contest were:
- Bloodborne Pathogens
- Hazard Communication
- Winter Driving
- Law enforcement bundle – Avoiding Collisions and Slower is Faster
- Defensive driving
Other courses utilized included Ladder and Scaffolding Safety, Sexual Harassment Prevention, Back Safety, Avoiding Slips, Trips and Falls, Ethical Decision Making, and more.
