A new overhauled VML Insurance Programs (VMLIP) Online University has just launched!!
The VMLIP Online University is a FREE training resource for VMLIP members. Courses are available in the areas of health, safety, and human resources and are designed to assist members in providing on-demand training when convenient for employees.
The new campus has a wide variety of new features designed to help students as well as updated administrative functions to help supervisor’s track training progress. An overview of these updates will be provided via two FREE webinars.
The first, which will be held on Oct. 21, provides a tour of the university designed for students. The webinar will show students how to find and select courses and resources, as well as how to access their certificates and transcript history.
The second webinar is targeted to administrators and department supervisors. Scheduled for Oct. 28, this webinar provides in-depth information on significant changes to the campus, including how to manage student-training records by department and for the entire organization.
“We’re very excited about this upgrade to the VMLIP Online University,” said VMLIP Director of Safety Services Beth Rosenthal. “The new university has tools that allow supervisors to track not only training that is done within the university, but also outside as well for a full picture of their training history.”
While much of the look and feel of the VMLIP Online University is unchanged, the features behind-the-scenes are much more powerful. Students can access their own transcripts, certificates, and training profile.
Similarly, administrators can generate reports and set date reminders and annual refresh updates to better manage training progress.
The upgrade also allows administers to create groups of staff and assign them a variety of courses to complete.
