VRSA hosts “Internal Affairs and Administrative Investigations and Citizen Complaints” training

VRSA staff are back on the road.

Nationwide, demonstrations and protests coupled with the flurry of legislative enactments have required police departments to reevaluate their approach to internal affairs, administrative investigations, and employee discipline.

To address this, VRSA recently hosted an Internal Affairs and Administrative Investigations and Citizen Complaints training in Williamsburg. The training was conducted by Lou Reiter from the Legal & Liability Risk Management Institute.

VRSA remains committed to being proactive by helping our members stay ahead of many of these developments in police reform.

This class will be repeated on Aug. 12 & 13 in Radford, and there are still a few seats left. If you are interested in attending, please follow this link to register: Internal Affairs and Administrative Investigations and Citizen Complaints (Radford).
