Second annual water and wastewater forums held

This March VMLIP hosted two Water and Wastewater Risk Forums in Glen Allen and Roanoke.

The agenda included an update on water and wastewater legislation, crisis communications, updated VOSH and OSHA requirements, benchmarking risk management results, and how Virginia Water Agency Response Network (VA WARN) can help operators continue their operations in a crisis or normal needs.

“This was the second year we have hosted these forums,” said VMLIP Director of Member Services Jeff Cole. “The topics were selected to help our wastewater members reduce their cost of risk by avoiding prolonged operations shutdowns.”
