Lawfit
This September, VML Insurance Programs (VMLIP) Director of Risk Services Thomas Bullock was invited to speak at the kick-off of the LawFit® Fitness Leadership Program at the Henrico County Sheriff’s Office Training Academy.
LawFit® is a health and fitness plan designed to increase the cardiorespiratory efficiency, muscular strength, lean body mass, and flexibility of officers.

Bullock spoke about the relationship between officer fitness and workers’ compensation claims, as well as how officer fitness leads to a reduction in liabilities and use of force claims.
VMLIP is a proponent of officer fitness and encourages members to explore establishing a wellness/fitness program for its police officers.
