Board nominations requested

In accordance with VML Insurance Program’s bylaws, we are notifying the membership of the annual election for the Members’ Supervisory Board to be held at the VMLIP Annual meeting on May 12, 2017, at The Place at Innsbrook, and soliciting nominations for those interested in serving on the board.

Governing officials and chief administrative officers of member entities are eligible. Two board terms are expiring.  New terms will expire in 2020.  Those positions are currently filled by:

  • Brian Thrower, City Manager, City of Emporia
  • Clarke Wallcraft, Executive Director, Pepper’s Ferry Regional Wastewater Treatment Authority

Both incumbents have indicated their willingness to continue their service on the board.  Those interested in standing for election to the board should send an expression of interest and a brief bio to Steve Craig, VMLIP Managing Director at scraig@vmlins.org by April 21.
