Member Portal Update!

The VRSA Member Portal is an important piece of VRSA’s service delivery. It allows members to self-manage their scheduled items, such as vehicles, buildings and equipment, as well as create or print new or existing Certificates of Insurance. This provides our members the ability to manage their asset inventories in real-time.

As part of our continuous improvements, the VRSA Member Portal has been updated to include a list of open claims with current status information.  This additional functionality has been developed with the goal of saving members’ time and providing an easy way to monitor the progress of your entity’s claims.

As always, a VRSA claims representative is a dedicated part of each members’ service team with the goal of providing outstanding service to our members.  Representatives are available by phone or email to assist you – and will remain in contact with your organization throughout the claims process.

The claims status information supplements, but does not replace, the claims data available in the VRSA website dashboards.  To make navigation easier, a link to return to the VRSA website has been added to the VRSA Member Portal.

As a reminder, the VRSA Member Portal allows members to create their own Certificates of Insurance (COI).

To create the COI, simply enter general information such as your entity’s policy number, coverage selections, certificate contact, and conditions requested for the certificate. Once requested, the certificate is automatically generated unless the information requires an underwriting review.

Since last April, 275 members utilized the self-serve COI request form through the VRSA Member Policy Portal to create their own certificates.

For more information on requesting COI’s, navigate to the 3:56 mark on the recorded New Member Portal Training webinar here, or contact your underwriter.

VRSA will be expanding this portal to include claims related activities in the future.
