Vinny Gallo, the newest member of the VRSA Risk Services Team, brings experience from both federal, state and local government to his role. Gallo, like VRSA Senior Safety Consultant Eddie Shelton, previously worked for Virginia Occupational Safety and Health (VOSH).
Gallo is committed to raising awareness on the dangers of heavy equipment.
“It’s something a lot of people don’t think about, but a lot of our members utilize backhoes, excavators and dump trucks,” said Gallo. “When I can share accidents and incidents that have happened, where people didn’t go home at the end of the day, it’s very eye opening, and I love providing that to them.”
