Training Trifecta is a three-class event where three Safety and Health topics are chosen by a host member, and other members are invited to join them. There will be a combination of in-class instruction and hands-on demonstration for each topic.

For this Training Trifecta, the topics include:

  • Permit-Required Confined Space – This class is required for all employees who are involved in Permit-Required Confined Space (PRCS) entry. Students will learn the hazards, signs, symptoms, rescue, permitting, ventilation, monitoring, and entry requirements associated with their jobs.
  • Electrical Hazards – This class helps employees to understand, identify, and correct electrical hazards in the workplace. Students will also learn the basics of Arc Flash. It is important to note that this class is not designed to fulfill your obligation to have a “Qualified Person” in an electrical maintenance role.
  • Hazard Communication – This class is required for all employees who handle hazardous chemicals as a requirement of their job. Students will learn how to read a Safety Data Sheet, identify pictograms, proper labeling, and protect themselves from injury and illness.

The same training is being offered on two days to allow for staffing flexibility. Please only register for one day. If you would prefer to register for March 12, click here.

Refreshments will be provided.
