October is National Fire Prevention Month, with the biggest campaign happening Oct. 9 – 15 during National Fire Prevention Week. VML Insurance Programs encourages all of its members to focus on fire safety and prevention during the month of October.
“It’s Fire Prevention Week. Protect your Family from Fire!” is the National Fire Protection Association’s theme for 2011. This year the campaign is all about keeping you, your family, and your community safer from fire. According to Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) most Americans underestimate their risk for fire, and many either lack emergency response plans – or fail to practice them with fire drills.
Workplace fires are also a real threat. Let VML Insurance Programs (VMLIP) help you prevent this type of tragedy from striking one of your facilities.
