Class begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. each day. \nThis nationally recognized OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Course is designed to promote workplace safety and health. VRSA offers Authorized Outreach Instructors to facilitate this course. \nThis four-day course focuses on recognizing and fixing hazards in the workplace. Topics will include an overview of OSHA and VOSH\, walking-working surfaces\, fall protection\, electrical\, scaffolding\, trenching/excavation\, struck by/caught in\, and other common hazards. \nAll attendees must arrive between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m. to allow time to present their license or photo ID and sign into class. The class will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 pm. each day. \nUpon completion of all four days\, students will receive an OSHA 30 Completion Card at no cost to the member.

When you register for this class\, you will be registered for both days – January 21 & 22. \nThis two-day session is a virtual OSHA 10-Hour Course in Construction. Topics will include understanding VOSH\, Chemical Safety\, Electrical Hazards\, Fall Protection\, Trenching\, PPE\, Confined Space\, and much more. \nJanuary 21 – Class starts at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.\nJanuary 22 – Class starts at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m. \nBecause of the virtual nature of this course\, there are requirements all attendees must adhere to: \n\nEach attendee must be on a computer (not a cell phone) with a camera\, which must remain on for the entire course. The computer must also have a working microphone and speakers (or headset). Only one attendee per computer.\nAttendees must be in a location where they are not driving\, distracted\, or doing other work.\nAttendees must attend both days to receive credit.\n\nIf your workplace does not provide a distraction-free environment\, please consider working from home\, utilizing another facility\, or using other means to eliminate distractions for the course. \nAll attendees will be given an OSHA 10-Hour card following the course. DESCRIPTION:Every year\, more than 200\,000 children are seen at emergency rooms for injuries associated with playground equipment. While the only legal requirements placed on playgrounds involve the Americans with Disabilities Act\, there are recommended actions to establish an organization’s “Standard of Care\,” established by the Consumer Product Safety Commission as well as various American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards. \nThis training will provide information on these requirements\, so you can ensure your entity’s playgrounds are properly audited\, maintained\, and inspected. Proper management can help in preventing accidental injury.

DESCRIPTION:This is a four-day class. When you register for this class\, you will be registered for all four days – March 10 – 13. Class begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. each day. \nThis nationally recognized OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course is designed to promote workplace safety and health. \nThis four-day course focuses on recognizing and fixing hazards in the workplace. VRSA offers Authorized Outreach Instructors to facilitate this course. \nAll attendees must arrive between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m. to allow time to present their license or photo ID and sign into class. The class will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 pm. each day. \nUpon completion of all four days\, students will receive an OSHA 30 Completion Card at no cost to the member.

DESCRIPTION:Every year\, more than 200\,000 children are seen at emergency rooms for injuries associated with playground equipment. While the only legal requirements placed on playgrounds involve the Americans with Disabilities Act\, there are recommended actions to establish an organization’s “Standard of Care\,” established by the Consumer Product Safety Commission as well as various American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards. \nThis training class will provide information on these requirements\, so you can ensure your entity’s playgrounds are properly audited\, maintained\, and inspected. Proper management can help in preventing accidental injury.
