DESCRIPTION:This is a four-day class. When you register for this class\, you will be registered for all four days – August 19 – 22. Class begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. each day. \nThis nationally recognized OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Course is designed to promote workplace safety and health. VRSA offers Authorized Outreach Instructors to facilitate this course. \nThis four-day course focuses on recognizing and fixing hazards in the workplace. Topics will include an overview of OSHA and VOSH\, walking-working surfaces\, fall protection\, machine guarding\, material handling\, and other common hazards. \nAll attendees must arrive between 7:00 and 7:15 a.m. to allow time to present their license or photo ID and sign into class. The class will begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 pm.\, each day. \nUpon completion of all four days\, students will receive an OSHA 30 Completion Card at no cost to the member.
