With over a million drones registered with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and presumably millions more unregistered but in use, there is a greater likelihood that your entity will either be affected by or decide to begin using drones for various purposes.
Join us as we discuss why understanding drone policies, drone usage, pilot considerations, drone selection considerations, policy development, and current risks and liabilities for the use of drones by public entities is important. This virtual session will be presented by Eddie Shelton, an FAA-certified Part 107 Unmanned Aerial System Pilot.
Shelton joins two other VRSA staff FAA-licensed drone pilots available to work with members to show them ways to reduce risks through the use of drones, as well as provide guidance on the rules and regulations regarding the use of drones by a public entity.
